GENTLE EXERCISE

A gentle exercise class for the mature aged person that includes chair based and strengthening exercises to the enjoyment of music that assists with your relaxation. Classes are facilitated by Qualified Trainer.

ARMCHAIR YOGA

Traditional yoga has many well-known benefits for health and general wellness, but it isn’t always accessible for older people or those with a disability. In this gentle exercise class we will explore:

  • Working and strengthening the core muscles around the tummy
  • Safely exercising our balance and posture
  • Learning to breathe deeply
  • Learning mindfulness for relaxation

Our experienced yoga teacher Gayle, is a registered Personal Trainer with further qualifications in Seniors Yoga. She says, “Armchair Yoga is suited for all levels! I welcome newies and those who may have done yoga but can’t find a class to suit their needs”   Give it a try.

CHAIR EXERCISES

 Included in the gentle exercise class for people who are unable to perform their exercise whilst standing for any length of time. The class is aimed at the mature aged people. Class is facilitated by a Qualified Trainer.
