This class sees each student working in their preferred medium - Pen and Ink, Watercolour or Acrylic and Water Based Oil Painting.

Broaden your understanding of the artistic and technical aspects of art through a study of drawing skills including shading, perspective, negative-space, tine and colour.

Learn how to build up value and form using a basic colour palette, dip-pen, ink and brush. Students will work with texture and subtle washes to realise the full potential of ink.

Gain an understanding of traditional watercolour techniques including wet-in-wet, layering transparent washes and colour mixing.
